In the icy world of Greenland, little polar bear Friday plays happily on the ice. But today, something changes. The ice makes a loud CRACK! A big piece breaks away.
Friday is scared as the ice moves under his paws. He tries to hold on, but he starts drifting away, farther from his home on the frozen sea.
Alone on the ice, Friday calls, “Mama! Papa!” But the wind takes his voice away. The Arctic, once his fun place, feels very cold now.
Friday shivers with fear, feeling alone. Then he remembers his mama’s words: “Be brave, my little bear. You are strong.”
Friday wipes his tears. He’s scared, but he must be brave. He looks ahead. Somewhere new, there’s an adventure waiting for him.
